Both Samuelsen and Jørgen Osnes have followed the development of Cobrief closely. They regularly give feedback and see that improvements are happening all the time. Where Samuelsen and the team at Hafslund Mobil Energi are working on insights and market surveillance, Osnes and Hafslund Vekst are working to find relevant tenders, the preparation itself and the submission of tenders.
For Samuelsen, the Cobrief access is not about winning tenders. He seeks actors who have already won them.
Hafslund Mobil Energi supplies mobile energy solutions, charging solutions and temporary energy infrastructure to large construction sites. It is important to know who is going to start new projects. There may be potential customers.
Who won what, and where? And who is really behind the major infrastructure projects in the country? That's the insight we're looking for and finding in Cobrief,” he says.
Samuelsen saw early on that the solutions of finding bid winners in the market were not good enough. They were expensive, cumbersome -- and often confined to single regions.
After being in dialogue with several actors, he made contact with Cobrief. He laid out the need in detail. Hafslund Mobil Energi explained the need for a tool that could provide ongoing insight into tenders — both who won, where and why.
Cobrief took up the challenge and developed what is today called Market Insight — a feature that was first created for Hafslund, but which today is among the most widely used in the entire platform. It provides users with real-time insights into allocations, actors and collaboration opportunities.
